Thank you for doing this. You made my blog traffic explode last week.
ReplyDeleteI was able to discover two blogs this week.
ReplyDeleteThe first is the Small Family Chronicles which is about Cathleen and Chris Small and their sons Theo the elder and Sam the younger. Theo is a trumpet player and strategist in the world of cards. Sam is a fan of the Very Hungry Caterpillar and learning to colour with water pens.
This week, too, because of the #abusedandbetrayed on National Public Radio, I remembered Star in Her Eye and Erin Sheldon and then I found You don't say AAC. Jess is a mature-aged emerging communicator through Speak for Yourself. The two posts about her are in the blog You don't say AAC. [This is the second Jess I've met with a lot of personality in the blogging world - the first was The Transitional Truth back in July 2017].
And the Petersen family: welcome!
When I was searching for information regarding Global apraxia (and yes, I believe it is a real thing), I found this SLP Mom's post. She is spot on.
ReplyDeleteI'd always wondered about global apraxia, Mfm Sparrow.
DeleteSpeech and language pathologist/therapist Mums - often they are brilliant and have that glimpse of objectivity.
The world of neurology has all these a- s and dys - s. And it has started to look at excesses.
I thought global apraxia was a lot like catatonia.
