ReplyDeleteOver at Uncommon Sense, I'm preaching to the families, teachers, and therapists of AAC users about the importance of programming unique, awesome, colorful, motivating words. I even created a little (downloadable for free) booklet about it, in the style of "If you give a mouse a cookie"
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the link up opportunity! #6 above is my Say Hello, Yellow! post from this morning that features 10 hilarious ideas I was given by an Internet content generator in a moment of writers block. ReplyDelete20 and 22 are sort of before and after posts focusing on the State Of The Union Address. Definitely check out 22 which includes a link to Tweets from the #SOTU4PWD hashtag discussion. Seeing so many disabled folks discussing disability issues was very energizing!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting! I linked at #29 about my youngest son's therapy evaluation. I look forward to reading from you lovely ladies!

ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! I re-posted here because I realized I was in an outdated link-up.. oops! So, here we are in the right spot! I am enjoying reading all of your experiences and insights. Again, so much comfort in knowing we are not alone. I posted this week about having a diagnosis (in our case 5)...I am anxious to get your opinions on labels and diagnosis and whether or not you find them useful.
ReplyDeleteI created a diversity activity. This post is in Slot #43. I give everyone permission to use it for educational purposes as long as you don't claim it to be your work.
