ReplyDeleteGood Morning! This week I shared about a great product I found to keep my daughters hearing aids on. Truly wonderful! And my other post is about the frustrations of fighting for needed equipment for my daughter titled Frustrations of a SN Momma.

ReplyDeleteHappy Undiagnosed Children's Day! In honor of the day, the communication app that Maya uses (Speak for Yourself) is 50% off (only for today). I put up a short post that links to a comparison of app features that help to make this one a standout. I'm hoping to write something more reflective about Undiagnosed Children's Day, but wanted to get this up early in case families of kids with speech delays could use the help.

ReplyDeleteHi Ellen, I found your blog when I was searching for resources for Artists with Special Needs. I have been working in our community with many artists and coaching them to develop their own artistic style. Not only is it good for them, it is good for me. I have formed many friendships with these artists; they are my foster people and I am so blessed to be a part of their lives. That is why I have started www.giftjoy.org. I am building a community for Special Needs Artists and the people that love them. It is in the early launch stages and I have great dreams for what it will become. I hope to represent artists from all over the country. As of right now, I have one product of my own art that when purchased will provide a local artist with one hour of fine art mentorship at our local studio. Anyone out there who believes in art as a valuable process for their special needs child, friend, brother, sister it invited to hop on over to my new site and comment or contact me at holly herick @ charter.net. Share your stories with me at http://www.giftjoy.org/new-blog/2014/4/17/giftjoyorg-launch-may-1-2014
ReplyDeleteThanks, as always, Ellen. I hope that many will learn about I Run 4 from my post. It would be great if many more families of kids with special needs signed up because the wait list of runners is very long. It's an awesome community. Hope others will benefit as I have!
