Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-up: Do the write thing

It's the Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-up. You know what to do—share a favorite post, then send me some chocolate. Or just share a favorite post.

Note: A few people have had trouble posting using Internet Explorer. Try a different browser!

What to do

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post. Where it says "Your name" put the name of the blog followed by the title of the post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).

Like this: Love That Max: Does Disney Have A School I Can Go To?

Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.

Happy linking!

  5. Hey! We are still in Mexico - I've been looking hard for connections with disability organizations and trying to reach out.
I linked up with my Scary Mommy guest post this week as it's the most in line with disability-related stuff.
I hope you are well - I rarely comment but I am reading your posts every day over here via email delivery. xoxo m

  8. My thirteen year old son was having a morning meltdown, and I just gave up. Let his dad handle it. It was beautiful!!!!

  9. #53 I'm Julia's Mom - I wrote an open letter to Kaiser this week on my blog addressing the label they gave my daughter of "no restorative potential" in a letter denying her OT. In less than 24 hrs after posting my blog on facebook I received a call from Kaiser saying they had seen my letter and were already taking steps to change their policy and the language they use when referring to patiens as a result! It's a small step but our language and the labels we use do matter!

  11. Hi I'm Diana from PancakesInBed! (#61) I'm so excited to find this blog and this link up! I'm new to the world of special needs parenting with two boys under two, both with special needs. I'm happy to find other families who have been where we are in one way or another.

  12. I just had to share #62. I found the video on the AmputeeOT Facebook page. It's a bit raw in more than one way, but I think it's uplifting and "fu*king perfect" for kids and their families.

  13. I have shared my post on sharing the Good Days so they become a stronger memory than the bad ones. It might be "Fakebooking" as one blogger described it, but I think it inspires other parents to keep trying. xx
