Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up: reader's digest 2.0
It's the Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up, a handy excuse for hiding from your family and catching up on reading.
The idea
Link to a favorite post of the week—yours or someone else's. Note: A few people have had trouble posting using Internet Explorer. Try a different browser!
What to do
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post. Where it says "Your name" put the name of the blog followed by the title of the post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).
Like this: Love That Max: Can we celebrate my birthday every day?
Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.
Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.
Happy linking!

This post includes a video of how Kyle responds to his favorite book!
ReplyDeleteThe pressures in parenting are inevitable and we never can really know where they come from sometimes, but what do we do about these pressures? I write about an experience we had with a friend who was feeling the pressure. Hope you find this beneficial to your experience.
ReplyDeleteIt's time for the R-word to go. I have posted an open letter (because he did not respond to the one I wrote directly to him) to Chuck Klosterman, The Ethicist at The New York Times asking him the ethics of the R-word.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen for giving space to our words.
I took 10 days off from ALL social media. My post is about why, how I did, the benefits, and news about our family. Thanks Ellen! (Wasn't able to post via Internet Explorer but switched to Google Chrome and no issues.)
ReplyDeleteHmmm...just posted my link twice, and it never showed up. I'll check back later. Anyway, thanks, Ellen!
ReplyDeleteMr Linky appears to be experiencing technical issues with Internet Explorer. I have been emailing with Mr Linky, although I suspect that is not his real name. :) Meanwhile, use another browser to upload!
DeleteInteresting - had the same issue as Kerith and was able to use Chrome to post. Never had that happen before!
ReplyDeleteIt's the weekend, time to catch up on all the new posts!
ReplyDeleteTake care everyone
Lucas
I've added my response to a radio interview by glamour model and special needs Mum Katie Price during which she claimed that ordinary carers are lazy and ignorant….
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting this... I love finding new bloggers!
ReplyDeleteThis week I posted about how to find hope when you have a special needs child. I'd love to see other people's posts about hope!
Seemed to have made a mistake linking up my post, the title isn't showing. I wrote about how doing things the "normal" way shouldn't be the only goal.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting.
Heather, try using another browser besides Internet Explorer to add your post.
DeleteI used Firefox. It's okay the title didn't make it, but the link is still there. Thanks so much for hosting this, btw. Always find great new blogs and posts from your link up.
DeleteHi...just wondering if there is a reason why I am unable to post my blog? http://openupandletgo.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-sound-in-night.html...I've never had an issue before! Thanks...
ReplyDeleteNot sure why, I've asked Mr Linky! Try a browser other than Internet Explorer, which seems to be the issue.
DeleteMr. Linkie's not his real name? Huh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this again, Ellen! Hope you have a great weekend.
Happy Sunday! Sorry I'm late! But the cool thing is that there are sooooooo many posts to read! Yippee for last minute arrivals!
ReplyDeleteI chose to share a short post about being silly with my son, and then realizing I was teaching an unfortunate and "ugly" lesson. The "ugly" is kind a funny, if you've read the post. Hugs!!!
Oopsie! Looks like I'm late to the party! :-) I just found you all through a web search.
ReplyDeleteI chose to attach my first post after an 18 month hiatus that talks about how people have responded to me when they found out I have a special needs child. I look forward to perusing some of the blogs and getting to know you all!
This was an awesome lineup of posts, people! I never finished my own blogging because I was so busy reading these lovely links.
ReplyDeleteSomeday I'll read all the direction carefully and learn to link AND comment at the same time! Sorry for the confusion!
