Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up: Dive in!

It's another Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up, even better than a visit to the ice-cream store! Almost.

The idea

Link to a favorite post of the week—yours or someone else's.

What to do

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post. Where it says "Your name" put the name of the blog followed by the title of the post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).

Like this: Love That Max: I Rule At The Pool

Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.

Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.

Happy linking!

  5. Whoops! I accidentally put my name in the title so I had to repost. Sorry.

But my post is Everyday Miracles from my blog Thomas Marshall Does It All. My son is blind and was born with some brain differences.

I often have people, strangers even, talking to me about praying for a miracle and saying "miracles can happen." My son is a miracle right now! He has overcome so much and he is so happy. He doesn't need divine intervention to have a good and happy life. He's living it right now!

  6. Thanks for another great opportunity, Ellen. This weeks blog is about Goodwill and their unfair wage practices, i.e. paying some disabled employees only pennies per hour while some middle and upper managers earn in excess of hundreds of thousands of dollars. My daughter, Lindsey, worked for Goodwill in the 90s. She did earn minimum wage. But how would I have felt if she was one of the workers who earned a pittance? I hope everyone will reconsider where they donate their used household goods and clothing until Goodwill corrects this disparity. Have a great weekend, all.

  7. Thanks again! This week was about my final realization that perhaps my determination to take Samantha to as many birthday parties as possible so she can "enjoy" a fun time with her friends, both typical and otherwise, needs to take a back seat to the reality that she just doesn't do very well at them and is usually kind of miserable. Learning from my mistakes...
