Friday is my favorite day of the week! Thanks Ellen!
ReplyDeleteEllen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for supporting everyone by doing this! Have a great weekend!
Thank you for this - it's given me the chance to post up a blog by a guest blogger of a fabulous undiagnosed little boy xx
ReplyDeleteThanks again for doing this.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ellen. Still hoping we connect more directly one day soon...
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen. This time my little boy stole the computer xx
ReplyDeleteEllen, Nothing to report from the 4th of July we were rained out (more like poured out)so no fireworks. How did Max do?
ReplyDeleteThanks again for doing this, Ellen! This week I wrote about all the progress Liam's made in the last year, since our big move to Kuwait. We our so proud of our little boy!

Ellen....
ReplyDeleteI thought about you and Max last night as I sat on our hard "Boy's Bathroom" floor with my Beautifully Unique mutt, Rose. I stroked her velvet-soft fur, hummed very loudly, drank a traditional lemon lime soda, read aloud some paragraphs from this book which I'm currently reading, and watched Rose drift off to Dreamland!! I personally did not feel very safe at times, and she awoke to several bottle rockets, all the while sighing.... Poor baby. :-(
Thanks for the update. I was wondering how Max's July Fourth went!! ;)

Thanks for the link up Ellen. I wrote this week about how parenting a child with special needs is hard and that it is ok to express that is challenging. Looking forward to some great blog reading this weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ellen!
ReplyDeleteThis week in "It Takes More Than A Village" I give a special shout-out to the Early Intervention therapists who helped us figure out how to be the best parents possible to a child with extra challenges.

Thanks, Ellen! I've submitted my own blog hop today, where I take a look at the mysteries of Down syndrome that are important to my daughter's future. What mysteries are important to other parents of children with Down syndrome that research is needed to discover and find solutions for?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to link. It helps so much to feel part of a community!
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing us all together, Ellen!
ReplyDeleteLoved the story about Natasha yesterday,
I hope Max - and everybody - made out ok with the 4th Festivities.
This week on Life After IEPs - we're re-visiting the ABLE Act.
A chance to learn more and take action.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Another big thank you for doing this. With Independence Day celebrations this week we didn't get to our own AT project; however, J and I did start learning about one of our Founding Fathers that could be called an AT Engineer. Which one? Well, you will just have to read to find out. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for allowing us to share! My son is currently nonverbal and so my post, "No Words" describes all of the communication approaches we have used thus far.
ReplyDeleteThank you for allowing us to share!!
ReplyDeleteAs allways, thank you! Your blog rocks!!
ReplyDeleteMy first time for linking my blog...Mother of 8, four adopted from China with special needs, Teacher of the Blind for 30 years..thanks for all you are doing. I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Ellen,
ReplyDeleteI am relatively new to the world of blogging and am fumbling my way through. Needless to say I accidentally linked my blog twice, once under "Kerri" and once under the title of my blog "Chrysalis Reverie"... I wish I could delete one but alas, I don't know how :(
Anyway - thank you for this wonderful post - it is exactly what I needed - a way link to other blogs that discuss supporting children with special needs. I am a special education teacher looking to highlight the successes and challenges I face daily. My hope is to empower myself to become a better partner with the families I serve and become a better resource for my colleagues who serve children with special needs in the general education setting.
Thanks again!
Kerri
Thank you so much, Ellen! I hope you and your family had a great 4th of July weekend!

I hope I didn't join the party too late! It's Sunday night but I'm here! I'm here!!
ReplyDeleteThank-you so much for giving us this fabulous chance to share stuff we've loved throughout the week. I think my kids will appreciate me sharing here--rather than incessantly with them in the car. So they thank you too!!!!
Happy summer to you!!
