Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up: desperately need a break edition
It's another Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up, an excellent reason to take a break from end-of-school-year chaos and, um, read about everyone else's end-of-school-year chaos. And other stuff.
The idea
Link to a favorite post of the week—yours or someone else's.
What to do
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post. Where it says "Your name" put the name of the blog followed by the title of the post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).
Like this: Love That Max: See Ya, School!
Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.
Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.
Happy linking!
This is addictive! Thank you Ellen, soooo much!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Ellen. I linked to a clip about Scott who has the same type of CP as my Cooper and I just love his attitude and simple message x lucky you finishing up for summer, it was 4 degrees here this morning, yuck!
ReplyDeleteMy post today is based upon a children's book, "In Jesse's Shoes", written from the perspective of a sister whose older brother has special needs. Thanks for allowing us to share!
ReplyDeleteI added one about a recent ST session with Baker, but then saw you geared yours towards taking a break. We're enjoying the beach with our Baker Boy and I did a post last night about our first day. Baker is not sure about the ocean! http://bakerisourdreamcometrue.blogspot.com/2013/06/salt-life.html?m=1
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this link-up Ellen. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting Ellen. My post goes right along with the desperately needing a break theme for sure!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't planning on writing an end-of-year update, but I am so glad now that I did! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Ellen!! I love this. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen x
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. I've linked a video of how we solved J being able to wear sandals with AFOs. I hope everyone enjoys!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting, Ellen. I've been on a little summer writing hiatus and have picked some past articles that I'm using on my blog for the first time. So what does #33 Dances With Moles: How One Man Won The Battle fit in with this special needs link-up? This story actually occurred years before Lindsey was diagnosed as mildly mentally challenged from a unidentifiable syndrome. It was a time in our life that was more carefree--before we started going to doctor after doctor after doctor. Before Lindsey became the focal point of our lives, our family. The kids actually loved watching their dad trying to get rid of the backyard mole problem (but that part is not included in the story). They would sit in the bed of the truck and cheer him on. Anyway, I hope you will allow me this glimpse back into time--before all the heartache of learning and struggling with a daughter who had special needs. I guess I needed this today. Hope it brings a smile to another parent's face, too.
