Hi Everyone, I had dental surgery this week, so I'm posting an oldie but goodie today. Btw, we had a Person Centred Planning meeting yesterday for Nick and he had a meltdown (too many people talking about him) - I'm going up north to open the cottage today and clean it (taking tylenols for my jawbone!) but the happy thing is that Nick said he wants to try to go up to the cottage this summer just for ONE day. He'll see if the drive causes too much pain, but he's willing to try :)

ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us share our posts with each other. My son took a karate class with typical kids. It is a very small class, just three kids, but it was dipping our toe in the typical waters as I watched how kids react to him. I'm not sure if we'll stay with it. We'll see...
ReplyDeleteI am really excited to participate in this link-up and get to know other Special Needs Bloggers. My blog is called "All Aboard...Life" (allaboardlife.blogspot.com) and is about my life with my 3.5 year old son who is developmentally delayed and believed to be autistic (waiting for neuropsych confirmation). My post that I am sharing is about how much he is thriving in his special needs preschool since starting two months ago. I am so happy for him.

There's plenty of corporate opposition to the treaty - and the voices of self advocates and their supporters must be heard.
