Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up: Strut your stuff!
Welcome to another Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up, that time of the week.
The idea
Share a favorite post of the week—yours or someone else's.
What to do
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post. Where it says "Your name" put the name of your blog followed by the title of your post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).
Like this: Love That Max: Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue, I Only Love Cars 2
Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.
Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.
Happy linking!
Love this idea of sharing posts. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the link up Ellen. I get so much more than I give from these. Always amazing blogs to find and read.

Love finding new reads! This week I shared a post I just wrote on Alternate Assessment, you may find it interesting if your child is a participant or you're a teacher. Would love to hear other's experiences, so please comment.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the shameless mom brag this week... we were just really excited by the letters... and positive excitement is something we don't see too often ;)
ReplyDeleteFaye, you have EVERY reason to brag! Be shameless!!!
DeleteThanks for creating this. The post I shared is about a support group I attend, but I also find great support from other parents who write blogs like this one.
ReplyDeleteHi Ellen - the post of note on my blog for this week - http://www.withalittlemoxie.com/2013/03/he-deserved-to-die-he-had-the-temerity-to-be-born-with-down-syndrome.html - is about Robert Saylor.
ReplyDeletethe NDSS is not pushing for an indpendent investigation. they met with the DOJ along with the NDSC and FRIENDS - but walked out with a great commitment to police training - but without a commitment to investigate his death, which was ruled a homicide.
This is... more than disappointing. We can't let this happen. Robert could be Max, could be Moxie. Could be any of our kids. We need to stand up and demand that an independent investigation be had.
Please help us spread the word. We are assembling a list of contact information and trying to gather all the separate groups under one umbrella so we can get this happening - just shoot me an email if you'd like to be part of it and I'll send it to you and include you.
xo
(sorry, typing over poor baby's head... )
I'm in. So horrific—and disturbing, on many levels.
DeleteThanks, Ellen. On vacation so only blogged once this week. And, like Meriah, I blogged about the senseless death of Robert Saylor.
ReplyDeleteI started a series called Special Needs Super Mom Spotlight where I interview creative moms of special needs kids. If you would like to be featured, go to my blog and send me an e-mail.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen for hosting again. Lovely to catch up on all my fav blogs and discover some news ones. This week I posted about Cooper and his friendships at school x
ReplyDeleteI channeled my Mama and wrote about Advocates who don't advocate.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the opportunity to link up!
ReplyDeleteWe met at Blissdom 2012 and I'm just now finding my way back here :-)(Took me long enough!)
ReplyDeleteEllen - thanks for bringing us all together! Such a blessing to meet, learn from, and encourage one another!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping the "5 Ways to Move Beyond Overwhelm" post on Life After IEPs is helpful.
