"Bliss" does not begin to describe how happy Max was to hang with the gang on the Disney Fantasy. His glee was the same every time he'd spot one of them: He'd break into a huge smile, squeal and make a mad dash over. "Ecstatic" pretty much describes how I felt seeing Max so giddy.
Years ago, real-life characters used to scare him but now, Max can't get enough. I was surprised he didn't ask us to buy a plane ticket home for Mickey.

So cool!!! That's something that Ben would love too! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYou too, Louise! Yes, I'm sure Ben would also have the time of his life!
DeleteHe's right about Goofy. But then, mice don't exactly walk on two legs, either.
ReplyDeleteVery true! Somehow, though, Mickey is larger than his mouse-hood.
DeleteWOW WOW WOW!!! Those photos are worth MILLIONS and MILLIONS of words!! I have to admit that when Garrett met the Woody character, I cried!!!
ReplyDeleteI got a little weepy when he kissed Goofy on the nose.
DeleteCan we have a close-up of those adorable red shoes Max is wearing?? Sorry -- I just remembered that he's getting to be a big guy, so I probably can't say that they're adorable. They're REALLY cute, though!

Those, my friend, are the Lightning McQueen sneakers I got Max for his birthday! Here they are, from the Disney Store: http://bit.ly/X1U9aB
DeleteCute pictures
ReplyDeleteThat's so awesome! Love Max's grin. So far, all I've met was Goofy at Disney World almost 16 years ago. Max has got me beat big-time! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou've got some catching up to do!
DeleteMax is getting VERY social in his "double digit" years! And when did Sabrina get so tall? The kids look like they had a blast. I'd love to do that someday, but I'd have to win a contest--that kind of adventure is a bit outside my price range!
ReplyDeleteMax has always been a friendly kid, but he is exceptionally so around these guys! Sabrina's always been big, but in the last year, she shot up over Max. She sure doesn't take after me, I am height-challenged!
DeleteSabrina & Max look like they had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteGoodness look at the smiles Max had- loving the pics- and lots of awwwwwww moments there!
Oh, yes!
DeleteA great time for your family! And that being said, my son and his wife work their butts off trying to keep up with my special needs granddaughter's many doc appts (120 last year) and their 4 year old. They can't afford ANY kind of vacation. sometimes, Ellen, I feel like you throw it in our faces how much stuff you all are able to do that most of us only dream of. Ski trips, country side trips, etc. and now cruising...not to mention all the workshops, that you go on to get a little time to yourself. Do you deserve it? of course, but the rest of us can only live vicariously through your adventures.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you feel that way, PJ. I share because this is the place where I chronicle our family's life, and share inspiration and information. I really, really hope that your son and his wife will get the vacation they deserve at some point, soon.
