ReplyDeleteThis is a great page. I hope everyone enjoys my blog:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a week! Still shaking from yesterday's IEP. Sigh. Grateful for all the suggestions and support I got after "open sourcing" her IEP!
ReplyDeleteHappy Chanukah!
I have started a new series on my blog where I interview creative moms of special needs kids and link to their shops and/or facebook pages. If you are interested, let me know. This is my first interview.
ReplyDeleteMy son goes to a special needs school and I realized I've become accustomed to the feeling of security it gives us. This week, I stepped out of my special needs cocoon and it was quite an adjustment - hence my blog post. Ellen, thank you for giving us this venue to share our lives with each other.
ReplyDeleteI wrote about how having a special needs child affects our holiday celebrations. Thanks.

I took the week off from blogging. So I linked up a post from last week.:) Thanks Ellen for providing an area to share and connect with others. ~ Jamie
ReplyDeleteHi Ellen,
ReplyDeleteI wrote my blog post on the Asperger's angle of the CT tragedy late last night in Los Angeles, and woke up this morning and read yours, which cited many of the same sources. I really struggled about writing anything about the event, because the words are so inadequate, but in the end felt that the media would jump all over the Asperger's/violence myth if we advocates didn't get our message out first.
