Behold: Another weekend link-up for bloggers with kids who have special needs. The idea: Share a favorite post of the week.
What to do
Where it says "Your name"
put the name of your blog followed by the title of your post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).
Like this: Love That Max: I'm Still Obsessed With Ur-Ul And It's Been Three Years.
Where it says "Your URL"
put the direct link to the post.
Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some fabulous posts.
Happy linking!

Thanks, as always, for doing this, Ellen. Hope your summer has stayed wonderful as it winds down, and the the back-to-school transition goes smoothly for your family. For ALL of our families here!
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Ellen. I'll be back later for some great reading!
ReplyDeleteOoops I did it wrong. I am no professional blogger, obviously. I am kind of bulemic about it actually. I have maybe 4 people who read what I write, two are family. The title is Dear Ed Asner Et.al From Nobody. Thanks for reading my words. I love yours.
ReplyDeleteI love this. I've heard from so many parents that say they want to read about and connect with families that have special needs kids. Find it is such an important and easy way to do so. Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend...I know I'll be catching up on some reading :)

Thanks, Ellen! Hope you enjoy your last days of Summer (it's not really over, is it?)
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this! I've been checking out other blogs in the link up since you started it up a few weeks ago and have been so encouraged by other families. Looking forward to connecting with other parents!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the weekends...and your weekend link-fest! I love reading new stories.
ReplyDeleteThis week I sent 4 1/2 year old Gavin to preschool for the first time. A very emotional week. The last dAy of the week it was the bus pick up that opened the floodgates for me. That what my post is about.
I also enjoy these posts, and learning about new sites! :) Thanks for doing this!
ReplyDeleteAs always thank you Ellen! I have been working on a vacation post but listed "A Wish" on your weekend link-up because it reminds me of how complicated I felt before her most recent (and more invasive) surgery. And, because, for the most part, my wish came true. Mommy Jess
ReplyDeleteLove this! I'm off to update mine now but stopped here first for some inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHi Ellen, hope you enjoyed your break :) thanks for the link up xxx
ReplyDeleteAs always, I look forward to reading about other parents' perspectives this weekend on your blog! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love that you do this, thank you so much. My blog started out as a fashion blog but I have decided to let people peek into my life as both a fashion designer and a mom of two boys on the spectrum. I hope you all enjoy this perspective as I learn how other parents live out their lives as well.
ReplyDeleteIf you are like me, you are DYING to get back to school and routines for your kids! PLEASE make the summer stop!
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed by all the bloggers who have time to write some great posts when they are most likely as tired as I am. I barely eke out one a week... but I'm trying! As always, love to see the variety every week.
Thanks for this, it's a great way to find new special needs bloggers. Wishing everyone a great start to the school year...in Ireland we've just gone back and it went...well that's what the post is about :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Ellen, I really needed this. I am just returning to my blog after a year of absence. I'd like to connect once again with all the parents of Special Needs!
ReplyDeleteHave a great holiday weekend!
Hi, Ellen!
ReplyDeleteI posted my latest entry that I wrote yesterday about assistive technology. So I now have two links on assistive technology on my blog (which should clear up just about everything about it) http://techautismandcomics.blogspot.com/2012/09/assistive-technology-cont-and-schedule.html, http://techautismandcomics.blogspot.com/p/a-guide-to-assistive-technology.html. The second link, I posted some assistive technology, but I put a link at the bottom of the page so everyone can read the full list (just so no one will think I left anything out). Thanks for reading!!!
I've been tuned into the Paralympics and gosh I'm learning lots and thinking lots and find myself simply amazed!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Just stumbled on your blog and I am excited to have sooo many great reads in one place! & excited to have the opportunity to share our blog with others too! TY!
ReplyDeleteThank you for what you regularly write here and for hosting these Link-Ups. I have added a couple of blogs to my reading list because of these. Maybe I can add a reader or two now that I have started writing. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the linky party. I'm sure it helps many.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing so many stories through this link up. September is Craniofacial Acceptance Month so the post I shared talks about ways to help kids understand physical differences as my son Aiden was born with a rare craniofacial syndrome.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your honest and forthcoming blog about your life as a "special needs" mom :)
