Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up: Show off your posts!

Here's another link-up for bloggers with kids who have special needs. The idea: share a favorite post of the week. It can be something you wrote, or something another blogger wrote that you loved.

What to do

Where it says "Your name" put the name of your blog followed by the title of your post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).

Like this: Love That Max: My Mom Is The Most Gorgeous Mom EVER!

Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.

Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some fabulous posts.

Happy linking!

  1. Hi! I left a link to one of my recent entries on a guide to assertive technology which shows that certain devices that can help your disabled child are in many places! I even used some examples with my son (and tried not to be boring, haha).

    Thanks for this Ellen!

  2. I'll play! I always enjoy when you do this - I love clicking on links. :-)

My link is not about Gavin (my special needs son), so I don't know if that's cheating. But it makes me laugh. I'm currently potty training his brother who is 3 1/2. Need I say more?

    xoxo to you, Ellen!

  7. Ellen, thanks so much for doing this weekly link-up. I linked to my monthly Hopeful Parents post, because on my own blog I've been mostly talking about either BlogHer or caring for my ill elderly mother.

  16. Dear Ellen :)

I wrote a letter to my son, Leo, a couple of Days ago. Actually, August 10th would have been my beloved grandmother's 100th birthday - I felt emotional overload all that Day. My grandmother loved Leo so much! Sadly, she only got to spend Time with him from 2005 until 2009, as he was born to me overseas, but I
feel Joy to know she had special times with him for a few years of his Life. They each taught each other. I can sometimes see her genes at work in Leo, especially when it comes to tenacity and perseverance. I believe she pushed my hand to write to my little boy on her 100th birthday. Much love to you & your family, & many thanks for allowing us to share here PeaceLove&Smiles, CherylFaith

  17. I left a post I did this spring when a man attacked me verbally about my children while I pumped my gas. It was the first time I had ever really experienced stuff like this. Thanks, Amee

  21. Survivor guilt is a big issue for parents of kids with special needs. Maybe this post will reassure parents they're not alone in feeling this way.
