I love it! You are a girl after my own heart. If you ask me, I'll send you pictures of some of the costumes we've made around here. Sometimes the making is more fun than the wearing, like the Reeses candy wrappers I made for my girls.
That is FANTASTIC! Max is going to love it. I love that he can get in and out as he pleases and won't be confined to an actual costume just in case. I can't wait to see pictures of him cruising in his car wash. Way to go, Ellen!
Also, take THAT to the lame commenter from that article. (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
I love it! Will you make me a costume, too? If I were nearer to you and/or had any costume - making talent, I would dress up as a purple car just for Max.
This costume was inspired by all the creative car wash suggestions I got here, so props to all of YOU!
Jo: Tried a purple car last year (involving a gigantic purple Bed Bath and Beyond Bag I almost set fire to), it didn't fly!
Kim, he hasn't seen it yet, we will do the big reveal on Friday, when the town has the parade. Max has never wanted to go, so I am going to parade him around our block and do our own thing as Sabrina and Dave hit the town.
And, KCT, I might consider adopting you if you happen to own a car wash.
soo cool!!!.. don't know if someone already gave you this idea but i don't know if any of those bubble machines run on batteries..that may add some extra fun
so you go ahead and create a whole scandal about max not dressing up, and then you make him the coolest costume ever? isnt that like the kid in high school who would whine that she got a zero and then show off her 110? if we didnt all love you we would have to hate you. just sayin'.
Is that a carwash?
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness. this is amazing! Love that you really took his passion to heart and are doing everything you can to honor his choice! So cool!
