Holiday giveaway: Win a really pretty necklace



Greetings, earthlings. We had a very fun weekend, the highlight of which was a birthday party for Max who turns 7 (7!!!!) on Thursday. He had the time of his life, thanks to a special surprise. I've got about 12,000 photos to pick through, I'll post a bunch tomorrow.

December's giveaway blitz continues with this necklace from Tanya Lochridge Jewelry. It's made of raw crystal quartz, polished crystal quartz, a freshwater pearl and Czech glass rondelle beads. The oval ring and the ball-chain necklace are sterling silver.

    Oh I never get to be the first to comment ;-).

    First of all a VERY happy birthday to Max!!! I can't wait to see the pics!

    And secondly, I'd USE a lovely piece of jewelry like that as an excuse to get my lamo unromantic husband to FINALLY take me out somewhere for a nice romantic meal. We only have 7 weeks until baby makes FIVE and I'll be slave to breastfeeding and poor sleep again for a while, so I'd love to get out of the house for an evening!

    I go to lots of art openings (my mom's a museum director), many of which require nice jewelry - problem is, I don't have much in the way of necklaces. This necklace would be a fantastic addition to my wardrobe!

    I would love to wear the necklace to the next state dinner at the white house -- I understand it's very easy to get in to those! ha! I would actually love to wear the necklace at a small Christmas dinner I'm having with some close friends.

    7-year-old boys are great (mine is 7-years and 2-months :-) I wish we could have had a celebration and pictures, but that just isn't where Luke is.

    I would wear the necklace to work. It would look great with any of my bright turtlenecks and jackets. Just the statement to say I am professional even if there are cheese finger prints on the back of me.

    I'm a professional who has to go to a lot of meetings. It seems that jewelry is the only thing that stands out on women in those meetings and I like to wear beautiful pieces, so I think I'd wear this to an important meeting with some of my peers from the customer side of the house.

    Where would I wear that fab necklace to? When my hubs comes home @ Christmas time he's promised me a lovely evening out w/o ANY of the clan (which hasn't happened since '05 when Diva was born) so I'm looking forward to that.     That necklace is breathtaking! I'd like to say I'd wear it everywhere, but I"m lazy when it comes to jewelry. Honestly, I'd wear it on dates with my hubby, probably events where I"m representing my Meanbean business, and the occasional formal event. Nothing super creative there, but such is my life! :)

    I don't often turnout for the giveaways, but I have to say - I LOVE THAT NECKLACE. I would wear it anytime I get to go anywhere without food, snot or any other bodily secretions on my clothing.

    I might even have to plan a special outing for it. An extra trip to Target or something.

    I actually would wear this whenever the urge to wear it came upon me. I have to wear dressy clothes to work, so dressing up to go out is not as fun for me. I look forward to wearing a pair or jeans with a sexy top and this would go perfectly.
