Of course, mere minutes after I put up the post below, my sister's husband called to say their baby had been born! She's Margo, 7 pounds, 8 ounces. My sister had a c-section after a labor that didn't really progress.
I'm not going to feel completely calm until tomorrow night (Max's problems only became apparent the day after he was born), but for now, my little sis (she's 17 months younger) has a new baby, I am an auntie and I can't wait to wait to get to the hospital and meet Margo.

ReplyDeleteMargo - what a cute name. Congratulations to the whole family! I understand what you mean about the worrying. I did the same thing, especially when our youngest nephew was born. The fact that he had a problem with his hips made my anxiety worse. I kept it to myself, but since I knew all too well how wrong things can go with even the healthiest pregnancies, I still had my concerns. My little nephew is now a healthy, smiley, crawling speed demon, so I guess my worries were for nothing. I know that regardless, Margo is going to bring your family great joy. Have fun with her!
Yay for Judy!!!! And Margo!! And Aunt Ellen!! I am counting on you to post ooodles of pictures asap!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a very normal reaction. My friend Sarah is pregnant, and I was SO nervous the day she went for her lvl 2 sonogram I thought I would throw up. Congrats on being an aunt!!!!
